Title: Biological Noise: Friend or Foe?

Abstract:

Biological noise, or fluctuations and variability in biological systems, are often viewed as undesired, disturbing, or even detrimental, as excessive noise can contribute to diseases and dysfunction. We demonstrate that, under some circumstances, biological noise can be beneficial for various fundamental functions inside our body.
