Title: The behavior of sonic and thermal critical points in hydrodynamical escape problems
Abstract:
The atmosphere of the earth is significant for the life and the evolution of its structure is also to be too complicated to understand.
The hydrodynamical escape problem (HEP) involved effects of gravity, heat and coduction has been used to study the formation machenism for atmospheres of planets. There two bifurcation points, the sonic point and thermal critical points, are revealed in the HEP. In this talk, we wants to explore the behavior of these two critical points from theoretical and numerical approaches.
