Title: Ascending chain condition for minimal log discrepancies for bounded threefolds

Abstract:

The ascending chain condition (ACC) for minimal log discrepancies, conjectured by Shokurov, is introduced to attack the termination of the minimal model program. It states that the minimal log discrepancies of pairs of fixed dimension and with the coefficients of boundaries in a fixed set satisfying the descending chain condition satisfy the ACC. In this talk, I show the ACC for minimal log discrepancies for bounded threefolds with arbitrary boundaries. This is joint work with Keng-Hung Steven Lin.
