Boundedness of foliations

Abstract

Algebraic geometry is the study of algebraic varieties, which are geometric shapes defined as the solution sets to polynomial equations. One of its primary objectives is the classification of these varieties. A quintessential illustration of this pursuit is the moduli space of curves, whose points are in bijection with the isomorphism classes of Riemann surfaces.

In recent years, the theory of foliations has gained more attention. In this talk, after an exploration of these foundational concepts, I will demonstrate my works toward the classification of foliations.
